Battery percentage not changing when charging

Seem to have an issue where the battery % doesn’t seem to be changing when charging with a lead and using the iPad plug. Was on 92% for at least 20 minutes. Jumped up to 95% straight after a hard reset but now been stuck on that for last 15mins.

Anyone else had anything similar? Have a 256GB Silver iPhone X.

I believe that you need a charge cycle or two to let everything settle down. The phone stops indexing your photos, the battery chemistry adjusts, etc.

Keep in mind that the % "reading" is a calculation, and never fully exact. It should become more accurate over time.

Same thing is happening to me every time i reset the phone the % is higher

Mine hit 100% using my fast charger.

This seems to be an issue for me over 80%. I was charging from like 30% and it kept counting up and got stuck on 80. I restarted the phone and it said 83% and now it’s stuck there. I’m going to restart again and see if it goes up again.

A restart didn’t help mine. It’s still at 83. Guess we’ll see what happens when it’s plugged in overnight.

I was stuck at 80 too. Just keep restarting your phone until it goes through

Came here to say almost exactly that except stuck at 91% on the wireless charger and at 95% when restarted. Still stuck at 95%.

I was unable to get past 83, then I had to go out for a bit, so I was without a charger for a while. I got down into the 60’s, then I plugged in again when I got back home and this time I was able to charge up to 100.

Mine finally rocketed to 100% on the wireless charger. Maybe it just needed the restart after all the updates and restores today. Bless it's little ol' A11 heart...
