Battery percentage not the same after unplugging?

This is weird. I'm switching my new The New iPad into several different power sources to charge, all say the battery is at 100% and show the plug in the battery indicator. On unplugging it the battery percentage goes to 98%. Plug it back in and it goes back to 100 and not charging.

Any ideas?

Run your battery completely dead and calibrate the meter.

I guess that's the best thing to do, I was at 18% last night and opted to plug it in, I'll kill it with Infinity Blade II tonight.

It worked for me when my iphone was doing the same thing.
