Hi,

I have a Macbook Pro 15' (late 2008) purchased a little over two months ago. Today I calibrated the battery (shows 3rd calibration) and noticed on Coconut Battery that the original battery capacity was 4600 mAh although I remember that I gave it a full charge the first time. The maximum battery charge and capacity at present is 4899 mAh. The system profiler also shows 3rd calibration and Full charge capacity (mAh): 4899.

Is there problem with the battery?

Coconut Battery isn't the most reliable application. I would follow what System Profiler states. Your battery is fine.

They do that at first they cycle and determine what the actual capacity is. The range for the battery is between 4000-5000 with 4600 being about the average.
