Battery questions to the community:

[Translated from German by DeepL]

Have had a refurbished iPhone 11 Pro since March 22.
This one has 95% unchanged since then.
Storage cycles currently 522.
I usually charge between 20-80%.
Since this iPhone has a complete storage cycle (=100%) only for 8-9h battery, I wonder if the 95% are displayed incorrectly...

I only use dark mode and auto screen brightness for normal use (mostly mail/ safari).

  1. Is 8-9h battery life at 95% battery capacity normal - shouldn't that be 12h (13h according to Apple × 95%)?
  2. How is your battery life at 95% battery capacity?
  3. How long did your iPhone 11 Pro (not Max) battery last alive when new?
  4. Would it now add SOME hours to my battery life if I had the battery replaced?
  5. Question for battery self-replaceers: How do you prevent the 11 Pro from displaying an "Unknown component" error message under Settings - General - Info?

Thanks in advance for your support and happy new year!

The "battery capacity" number is very unreliable. Several tests on YouTube prove this.

I've long suspected the #s are less than meaningful... At least for my Gen 1 SE, they seemed to be. The lowest the Battery Health % read after almost 5 years of use on the original battery was 82%. And the battery was downright unusable. If you did much of anything w/ the phone, it'd be dead in a few hours.

I had 2 hours of screen on time with my iPhone 6S with 82% of battery life. The battery was realistically sitting at 30% battery health.
