i remember seeing somewhere on macrumors that the battery cycle is 300-400 times. that doesn't seem like alot. you cant even charge your iPhone every day for a year? i must be missing something then. anyone know the real cycles?

if you let the battery drain lower then 0-40% and charge it back up is consider a cycle.. so if you dont let it drop you wont ever lose a cycle.. i have proof because with my macbook pro i had it over a year now and i've only done 40 cycles.. and thats because i went to class with it.

so really if you jsut keep it charged you'll be fine.. thats what people do with ipods they drain them and charge them thinking its a nickle hydrad battery but lithium batterys dont need to be drained before charging.
