    Hello,

I was really wondering about what makes my battery life more and more bad.

after 228 cycles, my battery current capacity is only 1116 mah, compare to the 1430 mah of design capacity. So only 78%...

It seems pretty bad to me, don't you think ?
    What about your's ?

    thanks for help

ps: i use iBackupBot to see it, connect your iphone and click on more information

Do you feel that the battery is performing poorly?

After 327 cycles, 1290 mAh left if that helps. But that max charge fluctuates a bit so who knows just how accurate they are. They tend to change (going up or down) when the device is restarted

I think the "app" is only as accurate as the sensor in the phone?

Do you let your battery get below 40% often?

*Technically* it's better if modern-day batteries are kept at around 50% charge and above. Apparently it's bad if you let your battery continuously run down and charge it back up from 0% (or close to that level). How much a difference this makes in real world usage? I don't know.

Additionally, there are other factors that affect battery lifespan, including temperature and usage.

Sort of unrelated to the jailbreak scene, but iOS 7 improved my battery life, better than it was on JB iOS 6. But the last time i checked before I unjailbroke my battery was at around 250 cycles and 86% max.

As per the Battery Detective app (from cydia), on my iPhone 4S, i have 337 cycles done and max capacity is showing as 1358 mAh.
    Design Capacity = 1430 mAh.

iPhone 5 with 221 cycles and max 1141 out of 1430. At least I know it wasn't my imagination that my battery has been dropping faster. Lame and after only 11 months? I hope this doesn't mean it'll be around 800 after 2 years... :(
