Battery replacement part for MB Pro 13.3" 2017 w\ Touch Bar

Can anyone tell me the battery model for MBP 13.3" 2017 with Touch Bar?

Also, is there any videos on how to replace it myself?

It’s a nightmare if you have an option to get apple to do it for you then take that and pay the price.

Omg, 40 steps. Also touchbar version has smaller battery, are you sure this guide for 2016 and function version would apply for 2017 one with a touchbar?

It won’t apply i’m Afraid but iFixit will have a guide if you search their site. Honestly if you can pay someone else or it’s within apples warranty (they will replace it for free if it’s within the first yearand has less than a thousand charge cycles and less than 80% capacity 3 years with apple care.) then pay someone else to do it the battery will be expensive anyway.

No part number from Apple, the battery is not replaced separately, it is only replaced as part of the topcase assembly.

2017 needs a battery replacement already? Might want to take it to Apple.

See all that 3M on the back side? Yeah, the original one is secured with adhesive, good luck removing it without damaging the battery and computer in the process. That adhesive is why Apple just replaces the entire topcase with battery when doing warranty repairs.
