Any recommendations on where to source a replacement battery for a 13" Sandy Bridge MBP? (I think it's the A1322 but not sure. I haven't opened the case yet.)

How much should I be paying for it? Other World Computing (OWC MacSales) sells them for $99 but several sellers on Amazon sell them for between about $37-60. I don't know why there is such a big price variance. Also, I can't figure out how to buy an OEM Apple :apple: battery. Maybe they don't sell them.

I found this video from OWC and it seems to give more detailed instructions for doing the repair than iFixit.

While I've got the case open I want to replace the 4 feet also.

Here are links to the ones I found on Amazon. I have no idea what or who these companies are, but they seem to be getting mostly good customer reviews on Amazon:
Temark
SLE
CSEXCEL
(is that actually "see sex sell"?)o_O

When in doubt, always use Fakespot to check for fake reviews. Another option is a battery from SOLICE that comes with the proper screwdrivers

Don't buy a cheap battery from ebay.
They don't last that long.

A battery from OWC will probably do better.
I would also suggest ifixit.com as a good source.

These will cost more but be "a cut above" the cheapo battery replacements.

Be aware that ANY battery you buy probably isn't going to yield the same level of performance that you got from the original. That's a fact of battery life...

I do want as high a quality battery as I can get.

Thanks for the info on Fakespot. I checked with them on the three Amazon sellers I linked, as well as the one you linked.

Fakespot rates the Temark and CSEXCEL a "C" grade, the SOLICE a "B" grade, and the SLE an "A" grade. Interesting.

The SOLICE is $45, the SLE $40.

The battery OWC sells is the NewerTech NuPower battery. That one costs about $100 from OWC and about the same from Adorama Camera and B&H. If you guys think it's worth the extra $ I might get the NewerTech battery from B&H as I already have an account with B&H.

I have no idea what battery ifixit sells, but it doesn't appear to be the NewerTech.
