HI, I want to ask, is it possible to reuse the removed battery from MBP A1398? The trackpad started creaking mechanically on my MBP Mid2015, so I want to replace it. The problem is that a battery is stuck under it, which must be removed. I watched on YT different videos about battery replacement, but I didn't find any information on whether the used battery could be reused? My battery is in very good condition and I do not want to buy a new one. Thanks.

I would be very careful about reusing that battery. If the trackpad was creaking, it's possible the battery may be slightly swollen. Be sure to measure the battery first to ensure it's not swollen.

chscag is right.
Perhaps the reason the trackpad is making noise IS BECAUSE the battery is swelling up and pushing against it.

In that case, a new (flat) battery might be enough by itself to "clear up" the trackpad noise.

You need to open it up and take a look inside...
