battery shows 100 but keeps charging

after my macbook is fully charged the battery in the status bar shows 100% and says fully charged but in the system report .. power section it says its still charging and says NO on fully charged option. is that normal? i just noticed that today. And on the power source it shows Power adapter

100% isn't really 100%, that goes for most consumer devices, really. Usually somewhere closer to 95% really.

Yeah, it will continue for about 0.5-1 hour after OS battery meter shows 100% because it is not 100% at the moment. You can use CoconutBattery or similar program to check actual charge level.
