battery shows incorrect % for a few minutes iphone 6

does anyone notice if you charge anywhere below 80% say from 40 to 60 the phone shows the old % for a little bit until you do a couple things with the phone. not sure if just on mine.
 
to elaborate if you charge your iphone to a number less than 80% and pull the cable out it will show the old charge % and if you plug it back in it will jump up to the higher %
