Hi everyone,
The last two times I have allowed my iPhone 5 64 GB to get low it has suddenly dropped percentage. It has gone from 25 down to 7 in a second. Also has gone from 14 directly to 7. Then while it is draining it will stay on 1 percent until it dies. Is this a normal issue? It has been on 1 percent for an hour now and it's still going.

Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Sounds like a calibration issue. The battery's actual charge remains unaffected, but the battery is incorrectly reporting remaining charge to the OS.

Usually, discharging the phone from 100% (fully charged) till it shuts down, then charging it back to 100% (fully charge) will solve the issue. Make sure you complete calibration all in one step - don't plug in or unplug the phone until you have completed a full cycle.

Thanks for the reply.

On a related note. My car stereo plays my iPhone through USB and charges the phone. The iPhone gets plugged and unplugged throughout the day. Will this have an impact on my battery?

Thanks again.
