Battery Time Normal?

Is it normal to have the Macbook Pro 13.3 inch battery be at 85% yet having 1 and a half hours left until it needs to be recharged?

I am currently using handbrake, that's it. Could handbrake use THAT much battery?

The fact that you are on a 13" MBP and using Handbrake is the case.

Handbrake is very processor intensive. It will drain your battery pretty quickly. Don't you hear that fan running?😛

If using Handbrake on a portable, I always have the charger plugged in.

Handbrake is actually using the CPUs at full speed when running..
1.5 hrs on battery while using Handbrake seems reasonably.
