Battery upgrade?

I feel like this may be a silly question, but is there a way for me to upgrade the battery in my summer 2010 13'' Macbook Pro?

As batteries improve, I feel like that could (should) be a way to upgrade batteries to fit aging models. Similarly to how RAM improves (gets cheaper) and can be updated is there a similar option for batteries?

Nope, batteries are model-specific.

If past history is any indication, Apple will still "lock" batteries to the models they originally ship with.
