If I were to use the internet for 1 continuous hour on 3G......would that burn my battery faster than lets say I amassed 1 hour of internet usage over a 3 hour time span?

Basically I'm asking does the battery churn out the same usage if I use the phone non stop or take breaks using it?

It would still burn more battery overall since you would have a greater standby time.
