That’s what your iPhone is called.

Go to Settings -> General -> About. The top field there (Name) will be where you can change what your device is called.

So it is! Thank you 👍🏻
If it lets you. It was doing that garbage with our ATV. Kept going from Living Room to Living Room (1) (2). And if I tried to take off the number, it would cry something was already called that, but there wasn't. Once I gave everything custom names, it never happened again at least. Guess it just likes to mess with the defaults.

I selected this battery option, not the one at the top. I know if I put my AirPods in it shows those for a while.

Mine does absolutely nadda when I press on it!
If you customise, then press (no need for long press) on the icon you will see the option to deselect automatic. You can then choose the device you want. Mines always shows 2 phones til my AirPods are connected then one icon changes to AirPods.
When you deselect automatic any other connected device will show (mines only shows iPhone as nothing else connected at the time). I then opened AirPods to show the icon changing.

Legend…works thx

3rd world problems and all but shame you can’t have the percentage on the smaller icon and shame you can’t rearrange the widgets…always fills up left slot
Pretty sure you can rearrange them when you're setting it up by holding and dragging.

they need to make these widgets in color like the watch blk and white too hard to read

I don't get the option to add iPhone battery widget to lock-screen, only watch.

Did Apple change this in the final release of iOS 16? Because I do not see a way to deselect automatic following your instructions. Thanks.

You can add widgets for devices you have temporary connected by setting widget (as shown already) to show only this device. It has to be connected in this time. If it’s not available widget will be gray.
