Battery with Kabylake for 15" Touch Bar rMBP ? Has it got any better ?

This is very true, and there have been countless threads on this forum where people have been complaining about scratches, malfunctioning keyboards and poor battery life pertaining to the 2016 MBP.

battery life seems to be satisfactory for me on my MBP TB 13inch Kabylake version.

getting 5-8 hours on mixed usage. I mostly use it for coding and photoshop.
 
And for those who may not know, Apple publishes exactly how they get 10 hours of battery life:

  1. Testing conducted by Apple in May 2017 using preproduction 2.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i5-based 13-inch MacBook Pro systems with a 1TB SSD and 8GB of RAM; preproduction 3.1GHz dual-core Intel Core i5-based 13-inch MacBook Pro systems with a 512GB SSD and 8GB of RAM; and preproduction 2.8GHz quad-core Intel Core i7-based 15-inch MacBook Pro systems with a 256GB SSD and 16GB of RAM. The wireless web test measures battery life by wirelessly browsing 25 popular websites with display brightness set to 12 clicks from bottom or 75%. The iTunes movie playback test measures battery life by playing back HD 1080p content with display brightness set to 12 clicks from bottom or 75%. The standby test measures battery life by allowing a system, connected to a wireless network and signed in to an iCloud account, to enter standby mode with Safari and Mail applications launched and all system settings left at default. It is even after what Apple published regarding the battery life of the rMBP that people in actual life, real life usage had reported low battery life !
