Still having issues.....

My iphone 5, which is running the latest update, will only charge to 86%. If I unplug the cable and then plug it back in, it will go to 87%. I thought that this could just be a display issue, but the battery is not lasting as long as it should (or even close).

Things I have tried -

Reset the phone using itunes.

Let the battery drain and calibrate it.

Charging for a long time, etc...

I had the battery replaced and the issue did not change at all

I have tried multiple cables, etc... but all charge my wife's phone fully.

Any ideas? I was sure replacing the battery would solve the problem, but it didn't change anything. I am lost.

Time to change the genuine replacement battery! I'd faced the similar issue with my iPhone 4 , 4s and that thing solved the issue.

I'm not sure what you mean. It started doing this with the original battery. I purchased the new battery from Apple ($79) and it is still doing this.
