thejadedmonkey macrumors G3 Dec 29, 2007 #3 When it needs it. My last battery lasted around 4 months, but Apple Care replaced it. Otherwise I just use it until the battery meter doesn't work properly, and then I know it's time for a new battery. Usually that's over a year (or two) though.

DiamondMac macrumors 68040 Dec 30, 2007 #5 My battery was just about completely dead 8 months in and Apple replaced it. 4 months after that it was dead again. Now, my battery is really bad and lasting barely an hour & half without charges. I am thinking of a new battery in another 3 months
