Thought i'd share this with everyone, no doubt it will be running even better in the future once they've optimised it, plus he has AA on i think!! Not bad fps!
Guess that extra 1Gb helped...

Yeah, pretty happy with the way it looks to be running there, i run Bf3 at 1650x1050 mixture of medium and high and get around 40fps with my early 2013 rmbp.

even 'low' settings on the 15 rMBP late 2013 looks great, get alot more FPS and it really does look good at 1650x1050

Pardon my ignorance but is it possible to play bf4 without a dvd drive or it requires the DVD to be present to boot up the game.

It will definitely look better than a PS3, but not better than a PS4. It can come close to the PS4 if you use the same screen resolution (900p), but the PS4 will most likely look a slight bit better.
