Thought i'd share this with everyone, no doubt it will be running even better in the future once they've optimised it, plus he has AA on i think!! Not bad fps!
    Guess that extra 1Gb helped...

Yeah, pretty happy with the way it looks to be running there, i run Bf3 at 1650x1050 mixture of medium and high and get around 40fps with my early 2013 rmbp.

Just about to get mine either today or Monday. Will be doing quite a lot of gaming on it, so will post up my results.
Good to see how capable the new rMBP are.

even 'low' settings on the 15 rMBP late 2013 looks great, get alot more FPS and it really does look good at 1650x1050

Pardon my ignorance but is it possible to play bf4 without a dvd drive or it requires the DVD to be present to boot up the game.

Ducatiti checking in :) #1 on the Battlefield 1943 Leaderboard! :)

Links through Origin. No need for a disc at all - not even to install

So where would you suggest for me to purchase bf4?

    So bf4 would look better on a late 2013 15" rmbp than a PS4 or PS3?

It will definitely look better than a PS3, but not better than a PS4. It can come close to the PS4 if you use the same screen resolution (900p), but the PS4 will most likely look a slight bit better.

get origin and purchase it through EA Origin account (it's like steam for EA Games)
