Apps BBC America Now Available

I was looking at the apps not on this Apple TV section, and noticed BBC America now has an ATV app.

Right. That's because BBC America isn't the 24 hour news channel.

Interestingly, the iOS BBC America app for iPhone/iPad works with and allows authentication for both Brighthouse and Comcast XFINITY customers.

But the tvOS BBC America app for Apple TV does not. Its list of cable providers is shorter.

I hate this trend. I hope Apple can pull this industry along somehow.

Ugh, for real? That is so annoying. Comedy Central is like that too - Comcast on their iOS app but not tvOS. I am so sick of these companies and their stupid inconsistencies...
