BBC getting ready for iPhone/iPlayer? Update - Beta

Hey Guys (first post!).

Am working from home today and have just tested the iPhone / iPlayer functionality. Works well on the limited selection (check out this weeks Horizon!)

TV out does work. Neat!

Hope that BBC will allow all iPlayer shows to be viewed at some point! Still no official word from the BBC though. Odd...

all programs produced by the bbc (they show the bbc logo at the begening) work atm the rest probably need permision or are being encoded etc.

if o2 are restricting use of edge what will they do when 3g comes out, the whole point of 3g being you can watch videos etc.

The new WebApp doesn't display when I go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer.

Is there a direct URL for the mobile version?

EDIT: Ooops, The mobile version looked so much like the original site that I didn't realize that I was on the mobile one.

for me it looks just as same as it does on the computer, only in one corner (in pink) it says Beta for iPhone, or something like that, top gear worked well for me!

this has made the iPhone essential, watched all of horizon in bed last night, I just need to invent some sort of support so I don't have to hold it in front of face (patent pending)
