Apps BBC have no plans to bring iPlayer to Apple TV

According to posts on Twitter, the BBC has no plans to bring the iPlayer to Apple TV. It really makes no sense given that several devices including things like that Playstation 4 and Wii have iPlayer. I've created a government petition to get this reviewed, but am I allowed to post a link to it here?

How strange but also very disappointing. Until all of the main catch up applications are on the Apple TV i'll be sticking with Roku.

They don't need to bring it to Apple TV the way they had to before though. Very minor work to there iOS app would port it straight to the new atv
