BBC Sounds "Too many redirects occurred trying to open..."

For a little while I have been getting this issue:

Safari Can't Open the Page
Too many redirects occurred trying to open "https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds". This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page, which then is redirected to open the original page.

I think it might have started with 26.6.1 though I was OK for a while. Obviously, it could be something BBC have done!

I tried clearing out all cached data held for BBC sites - but that only lasted about a day. And last night 26.6.2 has not helped.

Any suggestions?

(I can access it using my usual Firefox, but something I want to do does not work with Firefox! Might be able to use Brave or something else but I don't really want to have to use multiple browsers beyond my basic two.)

I should have said, what I am trying to do cannot be done on iPads or iPhones! But I don't see any problems on them. Though I can use the Sounds app there.

It a region redirect. I have to use a UK VPN to get it to open https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds. From outside the UK it opens https://www.bbc.com/audio on macOS and iOS.

You can quickly clear Safari’s cache with the shortcut ⌥⌘E if you enable Safari > Settings > Advanced > Show features for web developers. Empty caches appears in the Develop menu, but the shortcut is more convenient in my opinion.
