BD recording issues

Hello All

I have installed BD from LG BH12LS35 recorder in my MP

I use it for storage of files

I records DVD's no problem, but when I try to burn 14 gig of files it tells me I don't have enough storage on a disk

What am I doing wrong?

What program are you using to record. AFAIK the Mac OS does not record to BD. You need to get Toast with the BD plug-in.

I have the WH10LS30 (Mac Pro version) from OWC, and it burns fine in OSX without any plug-ins.

Did you check the obvious mistakes, such as BD drive selected instead of stock Superdrive, and put the right blank disc in right drive? I've only had errors that were my own fault. 😛

No mistakes here, been a PC mac user for last 20 years 🙂
Used external software Express Burn and it worked
It will not record BD disk with out external software it records CD and DVD fine
If anybody knows why that happens please let me know
