I don't care about him calling graphite lead, I wanna know how the recession has hurt someone so badly that they have to use a computer inside the very same backpack they're living in. When they foreclosed on me I got 2 backpacks, one for me, one for my MBP.
What 3rd world country does the OP live in where they are still using LEAD for pencils?![]()
okay, i am in no way complaining, just thought i should warn some people
I had my macbook in my backpack. the same place i store mechanical pencils. it turns out those little pieces of lead can stick to the magsafe plug. no biggie, but i was startled when my magsafe plug was crooked, and i looked to see like 8 teeny pieces of lead magnified to it. All it took was some rolled up tape and an eraser to erase the marks they left, but it was startling!
if you use your macbook in your backpack, try to leave the ports facing up.![]()
No, diamagnetism is the weakest of all magnetic forces and is not observable in every-day life. For graphite to stick to the magsafe connector, it would need to be ferromagnetic. Not sure if diamagnetism is a valid explanation here, but graphite sure is diamagnetic.
