Applecare vs squaretrade can be decided later.

As to ATT/Verizon and white/black, that's the neat thing about adulthood; you can make decisions on our own. The "right choice" depends on your needs and preferences.

Well you don't have to make the Square Trade vs. AppleCare tonight. You can buy AC anytime before the one year warranty expires. You might want to check w/ your CC as it might offer a one year extended warranty for free. I know my Visa and Amex do. They also offer 90 days accidental damage coverage.
