I don't even know what a crash on iOS looks like. I got my 5s last November and it's restarted once. What exactly happens in a crash?

Because let me tell you. Android app force closes were plentiful and extremely annoying.

I think you are referring to springboard crashes! It seems that's what happen to your phone. Apple logo appears for few seconds (like it does when starting your iPhone) and then all goes back to normal.

And then there are app crashes, for various reasons they close! I have only ever experienced such thing on jailbroken device and iOS7 betas on iPhone 5 and 5s.

None of the issues the OP is having on any of my iPad's. I would first try a hardware reset (Home+Power Button). If that doesn't help then try a clean install.

Ah, then I've had one springboard crash on my iPhone and two on my iPad.

App crashes you can't even blame on the OS. That's the app's fault. Someone makes a poorly optimized or buggy app that crashes and blaming it on the OS is like blaming road crews when your transmission goes out.

I think he's just fetching for attention. If no has encountered these bugs, it's probably not true. He would have restored/troubleshooted the device a long time.

Interesting responses folks, thanks - I got more info from that post than from any other.

Devices are:
iPhone 5s 32gb & iPad mini 32gb with retina

The iPad also freezes when airprinting from notes - this is the latest bug I've noticed.
It doesn't freeze completely. I can still select another note, but I can't scroll it...

I've restored both devices, so it's not that.

Time to take them both back to the shop me thinks?
