I saw a photo someone posted of a braided loop a few days after the bands were released, that had one of the loops really stretched/pulled out. I really did not take it seriously. I thought Apple would never put out a product that was that delicate for such a high price tag. I thought of it sort of like the iPhone bend-gate from a few years ago. I still went ahead and bought all of the colors. I loved them until I looked down after wearing the green one for about two days and noticed it had a snag in it. I have no idea how it happened. I did not even feel it happen. So I ended up taking them all back. I'm not going to pay that much for a band that I have to worry about.

I agree that fraying sucks but at the same it is fabric so it seems natural that it would happen after a while.

Not after less than 2 days of wear and especially not for $100.
Time owned and cost is irrelevant sadly. I’ve had jumpers/sweaters that I’ve pulled a thread on the first day of wearing, that cost more.

It’s the nature of the material that if caught on something, whether you realised it happened or not, it’s a risk this will happen. They’re more delicate than other bands without doubt.

I don’t blame you for returning. I won’t be buying any further ones until I see how my one holds up over time (general wear and tear, stretching etc). Frustrating though as I really like them!

How do you clean the braided solo loop??? I got hand lotion on my new red one and not sure how to clean it without destroying it???

I use Dawn and hot water to clean my sport loop. I let it soak for a while, then air dry. Should work on the braided solo loop as well as it's synthetic material.
