Seeing a phenomenal deal on a 5K monitor, but does anyone have experience ordering from them? Seeing Reddit chatter that they're a "selective scammer", so some people get orders without a problem, others get damaged goods or nothing at all.

Beach Camera Experiences?

I’ve had mixed results. Camera equipment no problem, computers and accessories another story. I would steer clear.
About 20 years ago Beach Camera had the lowest price on a Sony pro video camera I was shopping for. Fearing that it might be too good to be true, I drove almost 100 miles up there from my home in Southern New Jersey to see it in person. First question was... where's the beach? It was a little storefront in a strip mall on the side of a mountain, not far from New York City.
Not exactly what I expected from their ads, that little store was just overflowing with stuff. But everything was fine, I bought the camera and used it for a number of years with no problems. Now, that was 20 years ago so everything could be completely different now, they may not even be in the same location.
That was my only experience with Beach. Today, I would stick with the bigger, better-known retailers. If I just had to have something from Beach again, would do the same thing and go to the store to get it in person (if that is even possible now).
