Beats 1 streaming URL for older Macs

How to listen to Beats 1 radio on systems without iTunes.

Does this really work for you? I just tried it in a number of ways:
1. VLC 2.0.9 on Snow Leopard. Doesn't recognize it.
2. VLC 2.0.10 on Leopard PPC. Same.
3. QT Player 7.7 on Leopard PPC. Same.
4. iTunes 10.6.3/PPC and iTunes 11.4/Intel. Tries to play it but can't; no error message.
5. Finally...VLC 2.2.1 on Snow Leopard. It recognizes it, and loads in the playlist in the attached screenshot. However, these are all just 20-second clips from that Eminem song from 8-Mile. The actual radio station doesn't play.
