Also can’t believe the PBPs were never updated.

Yeah, that bums me out big time. When mine finally die, I guess I'll have to try the BFP's... as much as I'd prefer an ear-hook style, I'd really like something with an H-series chip instead of the 6 year old W1 in the PBP's.

Not colors I would choose, but they don't look bad. Predictably, the MR forum crowd is seething because female celebrity dumb.

Am I the only person who can see the bad photoshop of her holding the third pair of headphones? It’s floating in mid air

So the cost of paying her is added to the cost of the product. What value does she add to the product?
She is hugely popular. I’d rather her family not be popular, but celebrities exist and my ignoring most doesn’t influence other people’s behaviors or opinions.

This is smart marketing collaboration. It’s not classic Apple marketing by any means, but it has the benefit of not being “Apple” because not everyone knows Beats is owned by Apple.

Let’s face it, most Beats users are too young to know the “Think Different” Apple marketing. Most Apple users haven’t being using Apple products since the early 1980s like some of us have.

This is why Apple has maintained Beats as a separate brand. Somebody there figured out that, unlike phones, music has strong sub-cultural ties and is anathema to attempts of cross over appeal.

PBPs has the H1 chip.

And here I was ready to pull the trigger and buy myself that pair of those mustard colored headphones. Thanks a lot!

PBPs has the H1 chip.
Doh, yeah looks like you're right. For some reason, I always thought it was the W1, same as the original AirPods. It must be the lack of noise-cancellation/pass-thru (which the BFP's have) that made me think that.

Everyone wants to criticize Kim Kardashian, but I gotta say... I think those colors are NICE.

Also likely to be pretty popular with women regardless of the branding - the original earbuds sold fast and now go for a premium.

Every single day Apple gives me a new reason to leave their ecosystem.

im not a fan of her or anything but I already knew what the comments would be like lol
calling her stupid while she's making millions everyday and some of y'all doing nothing but sitting in front of iPhone's or mac's screen calling her stupid and that you won't buy beats because of her lmao the hypocrisy you weren't going to buy them anyway so for real some of y'all need to chill, like the comment that said that they would leave apple's ecosystem because of that ad? 🤡
Apple knows she brings attention that's why they choose her to promote some products

Following a successful 2022 collaboration with Kim Kardashian for a set of three neutral color options for the Beats Fit Pro earphones, the "Beats x Kim" campaign is back to bring the same colors to the Beats Studio Pro headphones.

As with the Beats Fit Pro, the new Beats Studio Pro color options from Kardashian's signature palette include Moon (light), Dune (medium), and Earth (deep).Beats Studio Pro are the brand's latest over-ear headphones and were originally released in July 2023. They offer Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes, Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, improved audio quality, and up to 40 hours of battery life. Connectivity options include Class 1 Bluetooth, USB-C, and 3.5mm analog.

Apple's Beats brand has been building up to today's launch with an ad campaign featuring Kardashian and Jimmy Fallon vying for the next Beats collaboration, with Kardashian's neutral Beats x Kim colors going up against a mustard-yellow "Beats x Jim" option that apparently did not make the cut.

The new Beats x Kim Beats Studio Pro headphones are priced at $349.99 in the United States, and they are launching today through Apple's online stores in the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, France, Germany, Japan, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Thailand, with limited availability at select Apple retail stores in those countries. They are also available through Amazon in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Japan, and at Argos in the UK, JB Hi-Fi in Australia, and Tmall and JD.com in China.
