How much? Ask the guy your buying them from for proof of purchase from a real reseller or authorized dealer.

Trust your gut. If you are suspicious, your probably shouldn't buy it.

Twice used? You don't really know what condition they are in. Are you saving enough money to possible get something that won't last more than a few months.

The older models Monster branded ones are notorious for being fakes.

He bought them used. And now he's selling them to you. So that's two people who have owned them so far, and yet all the packaging material is in perfect condition, all the manuals are pristine and nobody has even rumpled the plastic on the cleaning cloth?

I'm gonna say its probably fake.

Haha.. A used Beats pro with a non rumpled plastic of the cleaning cloth is such a big give away. I wouldn't buy anything that is overhyped with tons of fakes out there online.

    And why Beats?

Buy a set of fakes off one of the sites and spend $50, worth a shot. Depending on what he's asking, if they sound good I say go for it. Of course they're probably fake but if they sound good and the price is right (see above) why not.
