One of my Beats Fit Pro buds discharged to 18% after a run while the other side was about 80%. I don't know what happened (it was in the case before the run) so I put it back in the case and plugged in. I took out my Beats Flex and Jaybirds X3 and ran in the Jaybirds X3 for my second segment. The reason why I like true wireless is that you don't get cable wow when running.

I took a quick look at the price of the Jaybird Vista 2 which cam out before the BFP and was quite surprised that they're selling for $99 now. They launched at $199 maybe two years ago. This probably means that they're going to launch another product or already have. I checked a quite running review of the two and the Jaybird Visa 2 has some niceties that the BFP doesn't - solid case, wireless charging, different-sized earwings/ear tips. For $99, why not? This is just to have a backup.

Anyone else have a primary and a backup?

I have AirPods Pro and picked up a cheap set of SoundCore P2 buds which I mainly use to watch TV with (via AppleTV). I have to say, for the $50 bucks I paid for them, the P2s aren't half bad and I'm considering picking up a version with ANC. They definitely get louder than the Air Pods and battery life is killer - I think 7 hours when new.
