First released in the United States a few months ago, Beats Fit Pro are ideal for athletes, with flexible wingtips providing a more secure fit in the ear. The wireless earbuds have similar features as the AirPods Pro, including active noise cancellation with "Transparency" mode, spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, an H1 chip for one-tap pairing and automatic switching between Apple devices, Hey Siri support, and more.

Beats Fit Pro will be available to pre-order through Apple's online store, with black, white, stone purple, and sage gray color options. Pre-orders will begin at 3 p.m. in the UK, according to Beats, with pricing set at £199.99 in that country.

Beats Fit Pro also feature up to six hours of listening time per charge, compatibility with Android devices, IPX4-rated water and sweat resistance, a USB-C charging case, customizable silicone ear tips with three size options, and more.

219 CHF @ Apple, so more expensive than "street price" of APP here in Switzerland (200 CHF, offical Apple price 279 CHF)... let's see what the real price will be

I've had the Powerbeats Pro for 2 years and the batteries are almost dead. After maybe 30 minutes, they report as drained to about 50 % and die. It seems like a common problem from what I've seen on the internet. Considering the price, they're not worth it in my opinion and experience.

They are worth every CHF though; I imported mine from the US...

I got the Powerbeats Pro, when they launched, which looks to be August 2019. Batteries were still going fine for me, and I used them almost every day.

I got the Fit Pro when they launched, and I love them. Those little wings keep them in my ears, which is why I loved the Powerbeats Pros. AirPods and AirPods Pro will not stay in my ears. I love the smaller case, compared to the PBP. They also offer some of the features newer AirPods have.

Yes, like every other Apple product, they are too expensive.

I’ve had this same issue, and with only the right one. They’ll both show battery dropped to around 75% or so, and then shortly after that the right one will show zero battery and turn off. As soon as I stick it back in the charger, it shows as being between 50%-75%

BUT, they’re still the best most comfortable buds I’ve worn. I’d be keeping mine if it wasn’t for the battery issue.

Mine are being delivered today. Got them ordered for $153.11 on Friday. Going to sell my AirPods Pro, because they don't stay in my ears no matter which tip size I use. I'll use these and see what Apple does with their next iteration of the AirPods Pro.

But WHEN will they be available for pre order?!
In Europe, it should be from now on. It was from 16:00 Paris time. And indeed, I've just ordered mine directly from Apple. For the equivalent of $279.90 ? (with tax). Wasn't there a $153 deal in the US recently?

Update: ETA is between 28.1. and 1.2.

I've been trying to pre-order them all morning, but I guess I missed 10am, and the delivery day is now Feb 1st.

I have some PBP that are still going strong but I really love the spec on these. My only fear is APP 2 will come out in 6 months time and they have to have new features ?

I'm one of those people who have never, ever had any joy with apples earbuds. The AirPods Pro stay in to a point, but if I jump around or chew gum, they pop out. I once tried to use them at the gym, and one popped out and rolled right under a treadmill, so never again. I'm constantly pushing them back into my ear and twisting them around as if they can be screwed in. They're okay on a commute if I'm sitting still, or want to watch something on Apple TV without disturbing others.

I really love my PowerBeats Pro though, they're still going strong, I've had no battery problems. I occasionally have to repair them to my phone but overall they've been good.

I got the Beats Studio Buds last year, big mistake. I should have returned them but kept hoping I'd figure out how to keep them in my ears. If I wear them to the shops, I'm constantly catching them as they fling themselves out of my ears towards the pavement.

But I've ordered these, in the hope I can take advantage of the smaller form factor. I'm really hoping the wing tips on these new ones work well, if I can tuck them in under my ear folds (that makes me sound like a Ferengi?!) I'm excited to see how well they hold. If they don't, I'll stick with my PowerBeats Pro, won't be the end of the world.

Same here here! (Although my sister won a new pair and sent me her year old pair. She marked package with 250$ replacement value in case lost and I had to pay crazy 45 CHF Verzollung ?.)

(Hoi miteinand ?)

At first I did not like these, but the more I use them, the more I really find I am so happy with them. I guess the case heft was clouding my opinion, which I find shocking. I worked in a heavy IBM mainframe shop in early college. I remember that one of the color dot-matrix printers had a head crash and was snagging the ribbon. The IBM suit shows up to fix it, and takes the cover off, and inside the printer are HUGE blocks of lead. So that behemoth printer was literally weighted down by lead bars. I asked the Suit what they were for, and he said, with a grin, 'Customers buy IBM equipment by the pound, and if this printer didn't weigh more than other printers, they wouldn't buy it.' And he laughed. I was shocked that he joked about it, but heard from others about how much IBM's stuff weighed, and wondered how much lead was in their fancy color terminals. I can see it performing a functional purpose, but to just be literally ballast to make customers 'feel' they are getting their moneys worth? So, me slamming the Beats Fit Pro for being 'light', is rather ironic, and I'm personally embarrassed to have done it. *shrug*

Maybe good things DO come in lighter packages...

I just switched back to my PBP's, and aside from being a little heavier, they are still working great. I've started using them on my trainer and they stay put. No popping out, or rotating out and effecting the sound quality. They have a deeper sound too, but the BFP's are a close, very close second. The Beat's Studios work very well at my desk where I'm not nearly as active. I seem to have my bases covered!

I love these new beats fit pro for working out, but they're horrendously uncomfortable wearing them for extended periods. Airpods are still better for longer phone convo's/conference calls, at least for myself and a few co-workers that have tried these.
Must be highly personal (as expected for something that fits in a human ear, ears being pretty divergent in morphology between individuals).

For me, they are extremely comfortable, including for long wears, and even using the largest tip size for the best possible seal (I used the medium tips for the Powerbeats Pro).

One thing I've found with earbuds over the years is to give them a week or two, before deciding how comfortable they are -- your ears just might get used to them in time. This was the case for the Beats Fit Pro for me.
