None of Apple's ear buds including AirPods Pro stay in my ears, so I am interested in these. Obviously my ears aren't like most everyone else's—I used an add on over the ear piece for my wired earbuds in the past. Even walking around the AirPods Pros fall out from time to time and I've tried different sizes of tips. But my hearing is deteriorating and wondered if anyone has reported on how they work for people with loss at the high range. I probably should wait a bit to see if how the non-hearing aids, hearing aids pan out (as I understand it, we will be able to buy what we all think of as hearing aids without going through an audiologist). An app will provide the custom profile needed.

That H1 chip is like magic honestly. At work i tested it, left my iphone at my desk and walked to the Gents about 50 metres away with my Airpods Pro in my ears. Multiple columns, walls and PCs and Servers all over the place obstructing the line of site, but nope still worked with no dropping of signal or anything.

My JayBird Sport earbuds packed it in yesterday after 4 years of hard usage. Ordered a pair of these Beats Fit Pro this morning online and picked them up three hours later. I'm really impressed with the fit as these are my first pair of truly wireless earbuds. I feel strangely naked not haveing a wire between the L & R buds like the JB's. Its quite an upgrade. Here's hoping they last me 4 years.

The Beats brand never appealed to me. However, after my AirPods 3 kept falling out of my ears and seeing many great reviews, I took the plunge the other day. I can endorse everything the positive reviews say. Sound quality and features are at least as good as the AirPods 3 or Pros. They are a great fit; the wing works very well. Other things that are better include USB C, longer battery life and "buttons" that are easy to click and feel without dislocating them (which I found to be an issue with the stems on the AirPods). The grey version is quite subtle. In one of the reviews, the microphone on calls was very significantly better than the AirPods. To cap it all, they are less expensive than the pros. The one downside is that the case does feel flimsy, but I guess that is a minor point so long as it does its job. For those asking, there are no issues with these locking firmly into the case and charging, so they have fixed that issue with previous generation.

I believe the tips are exactly the same as the AirPod Pro tips.
They aren't exactly the same — Airpods Pro has magnetic tips, the beats fit pro has tips that fit into a groove as standard earbud tips do. because of that, I don't think any assumptions can be made that the fit or the material is the same. Reviewers have mentioned that they have a different fit as well (such as Unbox therapy)

Ah, I mean the little bits of plastic (silicone) that look identical, not the shape of ends of the actual device.

The PowerBeats Pro suffered from this problem where if you aren't very deliberate when you put them back in the case, the next time you take them out to use them one or both might be dead because they didn't make connection in the case.

Has anybody heard of that happening with these?
It happened pretty regularly with my Powerbeats Pro. It has not happened once with my Beats Fit Pro, and based on the way they connect to the case, I am not expecting it to be an issue with these. YAY!

Have been looking for a long time for “the perfect headphones for running” and today they arrived. Normally not a Beats user but these ones are quite amazing (at least that’s the impression I have after using them for a day).

How is the case quality? I have seen reports that's it's cheap feeling compared to the PowerBeats Pro.
I don't have any of the newer generation Airpods or Powerbeats but I have a few other wireless earbuds like the Sony WF1000XM4 and Ankers. The case doesn't strike me as bad quality at all. It's black plastic and of good quality, I'm not sure what people are expecting. It's not worse than any of my other sets.

Some people like a firmer close or thud. The plastic is on the thin side but it works.

Are there any aftermarket products to get wireless charging? USB-C to wireless pad that sticks on the bottom?

Apparently wired earbuds are currently trending with Gen Z adults.

I used Bluetooth headsets with a wire between them for a long time and liked them but I'm sold on the Beats Fit Pro because wearing glasses, a mask and wired headsets results in a tangled mess.Add a hat or hoodie and things get messier.

It's maddening and happens all the freaking time. Also doesn't always "disconnect them" and they drain when fully charged or try to connect to my bloody phone. Otherwise I love them.... was thinking of these new ones but what you mentioned has had me hold off.

The top is very light and quite big. They will only stay in either "open" or "closed" position, which is good but it doesn't feel as solid as the Airpods cases or even some others such as the Samsung Buds.
What do you want the case to be made out of? Concrete? The old case on the last model was heavy, bulk, and meh. You describe it like it's made out of paper mache. Come on.

No, just a differnt type of plastic like the AirPods cases. Not sure of my materials but the Beats ones are a softer plastic with a plastic hinge. If you've not felt both cases, you can't really make the judgement. I've felt the old Powerbeats Pro, the AirPods 1 and Pro and the Beats Fit Pro. The airpods cases are significantly better.

I saw one reviewer and he said that he is a fidgeter - he likes to snap the case lid open and closed and the AirPods cases feel more solid. I understand as I have a Cross pen and twist it in meetings.

After trying variants of Jabra, the Sony WF1000MX4's, and Apple's Air Pod Pros, I can say I've been happiest with the Beats Fit Pro, in terms of compatibility (with of course Apple products but also an Amazon tablet), and fit (the wingtips). The main issue I had especially with the Air Pod Pros (and also Jabra and Sony) are they just kept falling out. The wingtips solve that, and I don't need to push them in hard anymore, even for use on the treadmill. That is important enough to me for me to possibly skip the Air Pod Pro 2 when they come out. On a side note, I have used a non-wireless variant of Bose earbuds which were wingtip-style, and I'm assuming their actual wireless earbuds are similar. Those wingtips may have been a little better/sure-fitting, but, no direct experience there, and, I think those earbuds probably stick out too much from what I've seen (Sony's does too). Size-wise, medium is the best fit for me both with the airpod pros and these beats fit pro. I think that sizing consistency carries over to Jabra and Sony as well. Medium has always been the best fit for me. I'm not particularly an audiophile, so I don't think I'm a very good judge of the noise cancelling, but I hear fine on the treadmill when the Amazon tablet can only raise the volume so much for certain videos. I guess the main thing I'd have liked additionally is some way to control the volume, especially when using just one earbud... but none of the other brands get that right.
Xm3/4’s have volume control along with the Jabra 7 Elite/Elite Actives. Just enable it in software for your smartphone. Don’t think you can set them up on androids tablets??

Thank you for the detailed post.
I’ve now got to open the box and tried them out once.
It’s way too early to judge them, but I was kind of disappointed with the bass. It might be a bit deeper than the APPs, but not as deep as the Sony WF-1000XM4s.
But, on the other side, it might help the bass to change to a larger tip. I might have to try that later.
On a more positive note, they sound very clear and quite detailed, and not as muddy as the XM4s. More on the level of APPs.
The ANC seems good, but as I said, I’ve only tried them for a few minutes. Will have to check them out more thoroughly before giving my full opinion.
Looking forward to the next few hours.
Btw, if anybody else have any opinions/experiences, please share ?
Something I noticed with my AirPod Pro’s last fall. When by the road or cycling any high pitched braking noises would somehow disable anc and enable ambient noise hear-through on the bus closest to the sound or both buds of equally close to the source of the braking sound.

This is incredible and the way it matches ambient sound levels without allowing your ears to hurt is phenomenal!!

Whomever is in charge of AirPod Pro’s audio tuning and sound man event is killing it! I wonder if the beats fit pros exhibit this as it’ll be great for runnings or cyclists that want to tune into their music to help propel them to new highs/gains/levels yet safely be alert to cars etc.

I’m on the fence buying these. If purchasing from Amazon online will apple still allow AC+ on theses??

I just got back from the Apple store this lunch time and I went through 4 pairs of these and every single one had an underlying buzzing on the left earbud. In the end the manager told me he was refusing to do any more exchanges so now I have no headphones. Apple's QC screw up is my problem I guess.

Anyway, it's been widely reported on Apple support threads and Reddit but the press haven't mentioned it at all, so guess I'm just trying to draw your attention to it. It's the Airpods Pro buzzing issue all over again.

I just tried mine and they sound perfect - no buzzing at all. I got mine at launch.

Of course my it may be my hearing too.

The ‘Tips’ as in the silicon ear components of AirPods Pro are NOT magnetic - never have been. The ‘clip’ onto the AirPods Pro themselves and snap off. I own AirPods Pro and have swapped from medium to small To medium then back to small again … they are NOT magnetic.

I think you’re confusing how the AirPods themselves snap into their Qi charging case.

Yes mine are officially purchased from Apple Store.
