i had a pair of beats a year ago or so .. too much bass for my liking and also the build quality was pretty bad for 200.. so i am back to the stock apple ones until i decide if i am going to get a pair of shure in ears .

This is exactly what me and my wife said we were talking about Beats to a relative last night that they are bass heavy. I own a pair of the Pros that I DJ w/ and I like bass so it works for me. My wife on the other hand is not big on bass so she prefers the Apple stock earbuds.

I've personally tried multiple headphones from beats and the best ones that they offer in my opinion are the mixrs, I've tried the newest studios, the pros, the solo hd and solo 2's and the newest beats tours and the tours sounded decent for a pair of earbuds but the quality was terrible, they broke after a week, but the sound quality of the rest that i tried didn't come close to the sound quality of the mixrs, i love my mixrs and use them a lot, granted there are better headphones out there but for me, they're great and I'm satisfied with them and don't really care whats better or not but only that they please me
