Beats Music for Mac

I recently decided to make the switch from Spotify to Beats Music. Any word on whether Apple plans to release a Beats app for Mac similar to Spotify?
 
I would also love a mac app since the web player is awful. My guess is that they'll release one in the spring when they announce their rumored rerelease of the service.
