At no point did I say I hate them. As a previous owner of the headphones, here is what I think (I'll leave out the cons):

1) The sound quality is much improved over the previous version. Much better clarity. Less overwhelming bass.
2) The battery life is great. I sometimes went a week without having to recharge them ... they also have a wired connection if you run out of battery or you just want to plug them in directly for whatever reason.
3) They fit firmly on the head unlike many other on-ear phones (I have a small head).

These headphones are still definitely targeted for bassier music and in that they do well. Not so much for other types of music.

I'm fine with cons but relative between the solo and studio wireless. I own a ton of different headphones but for my portable use I tend to listen to more fun or warm headphones over more neutral sounding headphones. I also wanted Bluetooth and while I considered the momentum on ear wireless ones they are priced out of my budget around $350. The v-moda crossfade wireless is probably one I would love but at $300. My budget was around $250 and the studios were pushing it with sales tax. Ultimately I chose the solo 2's because they were $219 and more comfortable then the studios for me.

I couldn't care less about the arguments against Beats so please if you hate them please ignore this thread or don't bring it up :)

I currently have the Solo 2 wireless which I bought yesterday for $219. but I can get the Studio wireless for $250. I am curious who have listened to both or listened to both of the wired versions ( Studios 2.0 or Solo 2) and which do you think are better? I am happy with the Solo 2 wireless but I am curious about the Studio 2 wireless.

For that price why didn't you get the Solo 3 Wireless? It's the same price but with better battery life, further range and slightly better tuned than the Solo 2s... and the W1 chip is amazing.

Well perhaps I posted that on January 16th 2016 and those was released in October of 2016? I don't work for Apple so I can't get unreleased items that wasn't even announced yet. Might buy the solo 3 at Costco depending on how I feel I guess.

I made the same mistake as MrXiro not realizing the '16 date on this post originally.

I was trolling for feedback on Solo3 vs Studio since BB has them both on sale plus an additional $25 off if you use visa checkout.

Ah I read the date but not the year.
