Beats Solo 3 Hinge Cracked

Hey guys, just wanted to share this. I had this since early October and it has developed a crack on one of the hinges where the headphones folds. Hope it's an isolated incident.

That's too bad, but might be covered under warranty. Are you particularly rough on them? Beats haven't been known for the best build quality but I was optimistic Apple stepped in for the Solo3.

I've heard mine creak a couple of times lately putting them on but haven't noticed any damage. I'm very careful with them too.

Having the same issue with mine, sent to apple and wanted $169 to fix it, they said it was my fault. The build design is **** on the hinge, highly recommend that no one use the carrying case that comes with it, as that puts further pressure on it. Have been extremely careful with mine, sad that the hinge cracked due to folding, a feature that they are meant to have..

mine broke too.. never again will I buy beats.
