Hello!

Would anyone on here know if the free Beats Solo2 Wireless Headphones you get when you buy a Mac for college will work with an original iPad (the oldest model)?

Many thanks in advance.

No reason why they shouldn't, the original iPad only has Bluetooth 2.1 but Bluetooth is backwards compatible so it should be fine. You just miss out on some of the little benefits like battery display on the phone, possibly slightly decreased music quality, if you notice it.

Thank you, I've only now seen your answer!

The quality will be slightly reduced. You would notice it if you were using Bose headphones. You may not be able to tell with the Beats.

I don't understand why does the quality redices? the same port is there on the Mac and on the iPad..
