Why do the Studio Buds exist - when Beats Fit Pros are substantially superior?

I like the moon grey though. Much better than the grey Fit Pros - which are matched with a horrible yellow-white plastic.

At least colour choices are there - this seems to be Apple’s budget true wireless earbuds. not for me though, but others will enjoy.

How do beats earbuds generally compare to Airpods?

Beats fit pro/AirPod pro > Beat studio buds > AirPods 3 > AirPod 2

The AirPod Pros are the only AirPods better than these since they have spatial audio, they beat AirPod 3rd and 2nd Gen.

Now, Apple needs to step up their game and introduce AirPods in new colors this year.

There was a firmware update that made them available in your iCloud on all your devices. So "seamless" isn't quite the case. But, as I noted in another thread the other day, I opened my BSB case with my Apple TV turned on, and I got a popup on my ATV to press the Home button on my ATV remote to connect them to my ATV and make them my temporary audio output.

I don't currently own anything with the H1 chip, so I don't have any direct experience with how those devices switch back and forth between devices vs the BSBs, which don't have the H1 chip but do this kind of emulation of the same functionality.

Amazon sells third-party accessories for foam tips for this very reason. If you do a random ‘silicone/foam tip’ search on Amazon, you’ll pull up a slew of third-party companies that actually do make adjustable foam tips for the AirPods and other devices.

Yeah. Been looking but mostly for AirPods Pro. I have found some interesting one from CharJen Pro that'll fit the Beat Fit Pro. Only one I have seen with silicone over the memory foam. Pretty neat but it's only on pre-order on their site.
