Hello,

Not sure if this is it's how it's supposed to work, but every time I charge my beat X, they disconnect from the bluetooth of my phone. Have to reconnect and pair every time, is this correct?

I just tested with mine and sure enough, when you plug them in to charge it turns off the headphones. So apparently that is by design.

The BeatsX do turn off when connected to power, but they shouldn't unpair as you mention - they should stay paired ready for reconnection when they're next used.

But do you have to hold down the pairing button every time?

You don't need to hold it down, just press it like you would any other button and they should turn on and reconnect.
Yeah, on my Beats I have to hold it down every time, until the dialogue to reconnect pops up - are mine defective?

I had not noticed that part of your original post. Mine just shuts off when I charge. But when I power them back on, they auto connect to the phone without me having to pair again. Sounds like something may be up with yours.

Damn - will Apple store service them?
