I noticed that my pair never shows full 100% (via iPhone widget) after charging for a couple of hours. Will say 98% or 96%). Could that be normal? Anyone else look at this?
Thanks

Mine are showing 100% just now (after charging them overnight).

I'm currently leaving them on but disconnected to see how fast they discharge when you don't turn them off.

Do the BeatsX have an auto shutoff feature and if so, is it adjustable?

Also, do the magnets do anything other than hold the two ear pieces together such as pause?

No auto shutoff and the magnets only hold them together

I charged mine to 100% yesterday afternoon and this morning 7am they were at 97% so slow discharge rate.

Were they turned on or off? I just checked, and after 4 hours the charge went from 100 to 90%. As I wrote, they are turned on (i.e. the light is on) but not actively connected to a device. They can still signal the battery life to an iPhone via BT LE in that state. When they are connected, they lose the charge faster.

Turned off from about 4pm to 7am. Turned on I'm sure the burn rate will be much higher.

I'm trying to find out if I can leave them on during the day while wearing them around my neck, since I find turning them on and off manually annoying (really wish they'd turn off automatically when sticking the magnetic earbuds together like some other models do). Looks like the discharge rate isn't too bad as long as you disconnect them from the device.

That magnetic power off will definitely be a feature of the BeatsX 2. They could have at least put an auto power off after an hour or so of non use.
