Since upgrading to iOS11 on my iPhone7 , my BeatsX bluetooth headphones have been stuttering/having momentary audio dropouts. They were flawless on iOS10 - never had a single glitch, but it's a nightmare with iOS11 - happens in almost every song.

I have latest update on BeatsX and have rebooted/repaired everything but no dice. Anyone else having issues with BeatsX and iOS11?

I noticed multiple drops out the past couple of day with my Beats X on running 11.1 on my iPhone 7 plus. I did a force restart and (crossing fingers) haven't had any problems yet.

I just started to have this problem on my iphone 7+. Started yesterday on public beta 1 and updated to public beta 2 today to check if the problem still persist. And it still does. Connection dropping all the time with my beatsx.

On my Ipad Pro 9.7 they are rock solid and not a single connection issue. My Ipad is still on public beta 1.

I’m on the second PB of 11.1 and still having the occasional problem of drop outs on my 7 Plus. But I’ve had the problem even with a nearly full battery. Hopefully either a firmware update for the headphones and/or a fix with iOS will fix the problem.

I have noticed this same problem with all Bluetooth devices (BeatsX, AirPods, car head units, etc.) on iOS 11. The problem seems to have worsened in the post-public-release beta cycle (11.1).

My airpods are no longer connecting with phone calls anymore. Audio says its on airpods but sound comes out of the phone only. a few back and forths and they connect but usually after the caller is already annoyed. Giving up on them and going back to some regular bluetooth headphones. See if its all bluetooth or just airpods

It's really unacceptable that after 3 weeks they still haven't even acknowledged this issue... they apparently don't even do QA testing with their own products such as Beats X or Airpods.

have you tried 11.0.2?
Yes! Ever since I purchased my Beats X last week, I've been having many intermittent drop outs, songs skipping, and volume control when I play my music. I think I may return them.

I updated my iPhone 6s to 11.1.2 last month and my BeatsX somehow sounds much worse than 10.3.3. The volume also got lower, and the volume control became completely unusable (volume jumped up and down if it's opened). I tried to update to 11.2 public bate 1 but the problem remained, so I downgraded to 10.3.3 immediately and everything went back to normal.

Wondering have they solved this problem on 11.2 official? Did you guys meet this problem with BeatsX on 11.2?

I'm still having issues with my iPhone 7 and Beats X. Power the beats on, the notification comes up on my phone for the connection, tap connect, spinning circle, then it fails with a red "x"... I have to manually go into my bluetooth settings and switch it off and then on again, and then pair the Beats X within the bluetooth settings for it to finally connect. I still get drops in the middle of phone calls and music as well. Why hasn't there been any firmware updates for this product yet? we have Beats Updater software that lists these as a supported device, these and the Airpods are the only devices currently with the W1 chip, and Airpods owners have already gotten a firmware update to help with their issues.

Working here, but I usually have call Audio Routing (General->Accessibility) set to Bluetooth. Automatic never worked reliable here.

My Beats X work fine haven't had a problem pairing them with ios 10 or 11.

I have had issues through all of the 11 betas on my 8+ with AirPods and beats solo3 and switched to iPhone X and have issues on all betas. Seems worse when I’m a congested area like downtown sf. In suburbs and on a flight no issues. Think it may be the phone/headphones trying to connect to other nearby devices and cutting out when they attempt
