I have found the BeatsX to be the most comfortable and best fitting pair of Bluetooth headphones I have tried. They sound pretty good too.

Has anyone been able to redeem the 3-month Apple Music code yet? Now the registration form loads for me but after I fill everything out and submit it I get the error page.
Apparently there were some problems. I had some and as I think I wrote earlier in the thread I just went to the Apple store and got my Apple Music code redeemed.

anyone having battery life problems on their iphone 7 when Beat X are connected? I was playing Spotify with these earphones and my battery went from 100% to 20% in just 4 hours... and that doesnt seem right

Anyone having problems registering their Beats? I get the website is having technical difficulties every time I try. I want to get my Apple Music credit.

I've been trying for over a week now. I chatted with Apple support over the weekend and they said it would be fixed by Tuesday, but it didn't work yesterday or today either. When I did the chat they said there was nothing they could do and I had to wait until Tuesday. I'm feeling pretty put out by now.

You have to call apple and get to iTunes support they will email you a code in a few days

Is $119 a good deal for them? Debating if I should get them or not.

Compared to $159.99 yeah it's not a bad deal.

I waited and waited. And found them at Best Buy. They had a "deal of the day" for $99.99 and I had a $20 certificate too.

Finally broke down and picked up a pair of Beats X at Best Buy on Saturday with a reward cert we got after buying a new fridge. I have had the airpods since early Jan, and while I enjoyed the convenience of them, I just could not find a lot of applications where I liked using them. Mowing the lawn was out as they let too much noise in, the office was out as I could still here conversations at other desks, and exercise at the gym was out, once again too much noise. I did like them when walking outside and I wanted to be aware of my surroundings, but I wanted something I could use in those other situations.

After a couple of days with the beats x, the Airpods just got put on eBay. The sound is good, battery life so far is good as long as you remember to shut them off, the quick charge is great and offsets somewhat not having the charging case the airpods have. They fit me well and I like that they do a good job of blocking outside noise. I do get some cord noise when jogging, but I have had that issue with most in-ear buds. It is great to have in-line controls back for volume, something they need to fix on the next version of Airpods. Overall I like them a lot.

My dream is something with the form-factor of the AirPods, but the sound quality and ANC of the Bose QC20. Maybe next year?

I got the beats when Best Buy had the flash sale for 99 bucks. They aren't perfect, but they are good enough for me. The sound is good but not great, but I like how comfortable they are. With the added wing tips, they stay in my ear almost perfectly. Sound isolation is great. Would I have spent $150 on them? Probably not, but for $99, they are a great buy.

Strange they are being discounted so much and so quickly. Maybe there has not been lots of interest.

I agree quite a few sales lately almost to the point that they arent selling.
I think they were a tad overpriced to begin with when compared to other popular BT earphones like the Jaybirds. The brand doesn't have the same kind of pull in this market justifying a premium as, say, the iPhone.

That said, I've had mine for a while now and am still happy with them. Carry them around my neck all the time. The only little flaw IMO is the power button. For one, it should have been on the flat side of the neck piece to make it easier to press, and second it should require a longer press to activate pairing mode (it's just too easy to trigger by accident).

How do i "pair" them with my other devices? I did it with my iphone7 but they dont show up anywhere in my ipad pro.

My understanding is that they sync across all devices via iCloud once you do it once.

Well i cant see them on my iPad anywhere.

Edit: solved it by restarting both my ipad and iphone, now it works just as it should.

If anyone is interested in getting a pair. Best Buy is having a one day sale on these headphones $99.99. But it's only for the black color.

Ok picked these up at Bestbuy on their $99 sale. In short, they ar le terrible in my opinion. If I paid $40 for them I would feel ripped off.

They do work like said, easy pairing, good cord setup to hang around your neck etc. May be a little long but not too bad.

The problem is the sound. It is just awful. No bass, very thin and faint sound. Like the treble is turned all the way up. The white ones that come with the phone are 100x better sound. I compared same songs back to back. Mostly I listen to books on Audible and they still sound bad. My little Jabra Stealth one ear Bluetooth sounds better. I will return.

$100 is a fair price. Disconnecting and reconnecting bluetooth earphones is a real pain in the *** so the W1 is a huge step forward. Having said that, the AirPods also have W1 and a lot of other functionality besides. If they were a third of the price then maybe.

Try the other ear tips. While they're not amazing-sounding, you're definitely not getting the seal that the BeatsX need. Without a seal they'll sound exactly as you described.

I'm having the same problem, despite having tried literally DOZENS of tips including two different kinds of Complys ... I just cannot get a good seal, no matter what I try. My AirPods have WAY more bass, and I know it's just a seal problem but even with tips that work well on other headphones, I simply cannot get a good seal with the BeatsX.
