Beejive IM push notifications

I recieved a push notification on my Beejive IM client and it isn't a new message notification, it's a news one. I cant seem to access the notifiction to make the red circle on the app icon go away. Any ideas?

Open beejive, go to chats, and delete all active conversations. That does the trick for me everytime.

There are no conversations open, that's the problem.

Hmmm...have you tried restarting the phone? Or maybe delete it and resync with itunes?

I had that issue before when the push update first came out. I signed out all accounts. Closed the app, reopened and signed in. When to my messages page and when I closed the app it was gone.

Or sign in and have someone send you a message. That cleared it out for me. LOL

lol I have AIM bots on my buddy list for this reason, anytime this happens, i just message an AIM bot and it automatically messages u back. problem solved 😀
