There's a big chance she might just get you a brand new one this time around!

I'm not holding my breath. I emailed her last night and would of thought that she would of either emailed or phoned me by now.

I'm guessing IF she does get me a new machine then it would be the white one and not the alumimum one. Which is still better than the one i have because it will have the superdrive where as mine's only a combo.

UPDATE:

Well just got off the phone again and the lady was very appologetic. But i now have 2 choices.

1. Get sent another refurb machine which will hopefully be in better shape.
2. Get £100 off a new machine.

The cheapest model whitebook is £704 and the only advantage it will have is a superdrive which i don't think is worth the £75 difference i would have to pay.

It seems like the 75 would be worth the superdrive + getting a NEW machine which is less likely to have the issue of your last replacement refurb.

hmm.. maybe. I've just emailed her seeing how much i'd get off one of the new aliminium ones.

another update:

Well my 3rd refurb is now on its way to me and should be here today. I'm really P**s*d at apple and feel really let down.

Don't think i'll every buy a refurb again
