Become a MacRumors Supporter for $50/year with no ads, ability to filter front page stories, and private forums.
I add myself to the list of fellow MR users who are impressed at your post count. I've been here since late 2006, and I don't have half that yet.

(P.S. It's nice to see some fellow Diablo fans here!)

I make no apologies for being retired, and a motor-mouth. :p

That is mighty impressive, i wish i could do 16 posts a day...

Stay awhile and listen!

5 points to the person who names that quote.

Deckard Cain from the Diablo series.

This site goes back quite some time.

i remember when i was quite the poster.
good times, good times.
edit:
I also remember lurking for a few months before posting, why i did that i have always forgot.

Unbelieveable, I just posted my 250th post 1 minute ago. I also visit this site daily, but it has taken me over 2 years to get this post count. Congratulations on your (and my) graduation into the MarketPlace. I understand that it can take a little while for this to update and you can begin to participate in that forum.

Took me more than 6 years

I think I should be eligible for some sort of a special title ... super lurker or something to the like :)

Who are the oldest (in terms of join date) members who still post?

I remember I found this site in January of 2003 when I was still working for IBM. Bought my first MAC - a G4 12" Powerbook that is now packed away somewhere in my storage boxes.

Made quite a stir in IBM. A Director of Sales making presentations to 500 people blatantly using an Apple. :)

I have also been here for that long, still working on 250 posts though :(

Edit: i'm getting close to 2 years actually

Been here ever since I found this on blakespot's site, it's a nice mac news site, needs a bit of tweaking and I'm a bit bummed that I didn't get the opportunity to help them with that, but oh well :)

Still sticking around!

I reached my 1 year anniversary early this month… Its been a great time.

I make no apologies for being retired, and a motor-mouth. :p

John you still need to work on it:

And I make no apologies for being in love with MR and quitting every other forum I post in. :D

Hey guys,

By pure coincidence, I noticed that it's been over a year since I joined MacRumors... (see attached images)

And, I just thought I'd create this thread just to thank arn, the admins, moderators, contributers, and everyone else involved for the fantastic community of users at MacRumors Forums.

I've been using the service pretty much every day since I joined and have also recommended the forums to other Mac and iPod/iPhone users I know. It's also worth mentioning that MacRumors is responsible for my choice that made me switch from Windows to Mac last July - which is brilliant.

Once again, thank you.

Moggy

Been viewing this site almost daily since about 2001. I haven't been much of a contributor (unlike you!) but I agree, it's the best Mac community/resource bar none.

I wonder how many switchers MR has spawned or expedited?
