How was ohGr on that show?

I wanted to see his show and its coming to my area in a week.

my input to this thread:;
Last recent concerts happened in October (lol)
MSI (Oct4th)
Danzig (Oct 9 - iirc)

Sorry, I just saw this. ohGr was great I thought! This was my first time seeing him live and was glad that he encored with "Minus" and "Majik" he of course came out in a really neat/outlandish get up!

Trans Siberian Orchestra, Dec 5th.

First time I've seen them, would go again. Very entertaining and unique show.

I've just got back from the Kings of Leon gig at the CIA in Cardiff. They were bloody terrible. I wasn't expecting much from the songs on their disappointing new album, but they somehow managed to ruin the old ones too.

A case of too much 'stadium' and not enough 'rock'!

On Dec 4th i saw Death Cab for Cutie, Snow Patrol, Cold War Kids, Jack’s Mannequin and Carolina Liar the only remotely good bands that night were Snow Patrol and Cold war kids, the others blew more then i could explain. I really expected more from Death Cab.

A few weeks ago I went to the Glow in the Dark tour. Man can Kanye West put on a show. Was soooooooooo goood, the energy he has is uncontainable. Anyone else been to GITD and liked it?

Going to see The Slackers in Brooklyn on Saturday and seeing Wu-Tang Clan in NJ on Sunday :D

Well here are the three concerts I've gone to and the bands that were there (Bands in order they performed).

1st concert (about year and a half ago)
- Cute Is What We Aim For
- The Plain White T's
- Gym Class Hero's
- Fall Out Boy (Main Band)

2nd concert (Late October this year)
- I forget the first band
- I forget the second band
- Mayday Parade
- All Time Low (Main band)

3rd concert (December 10th this year)
- Drive A
- Interparty System
- 3OH!3
- Shiny Toy Guns

Seeing All Time Low, 3OH!3 and Shiny Toy Guns was AMAZING.
I really want to see VNV Nation, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Panic at The Disco (my favorite band), and The Medic Droid.

Went to see Saliva a couple nights ago,it was ok for what it was (promotional concert) but everybody except the rythm guitarist has a very boring stage presence. Also the lead singer Josey over uses the words "HELL YEAH" in and between songs.

Nick Cave in Oz.

I've just booked tickets to Adelaide, Hobart and the just announced 2nd Melbourne concert. Get in quick if you missed the first. Who's stoked? I'm stoked! And I'll see The Saints in Hobart too.

Metallica last night. My neck is stiff. My throat is raw. They played Breadfan (one of my favorite covers). Awesome show.

Lethal

I'm so jealous! They are playing about two hours from me tomorrow night, and I don't have enough money for a ticket!! Plus, they've confirmed concerts in Europe through mid-late 2009, so I won't be seeing them any time soon.

i saw slipknot on the 9th December supported by Children of Bodom and Machine Head, all three of the acts were phenomenal, it was the best concert i had been too, the atmosphere in the MEN arena was electric during Slipknot, all 17/18k of them!!! unfortunately we were seated and not in the mosh pit but it was still good.

I'm going to see Metallica at the MEN in feb too, can't wait!! :D

Saw them last month, I had the same symptoms as you!! Couldn't talk clearly for 2 days following the concert. I've seen them several times, I think they get better every time I see them.

Seek & Destroy was the Final encore (3rd one). I cant remember the last time I have seen a crowd so pumped up, after 3 hours of non-stop music.

GREAT concert

Just got back from an Invisible Children benefit with Dustin Kensrue (of Thrice), Chris Conley (Saves The Day), Jon Foreman (Switchfoot), Jim Ward (Sparta), and Aaron Weiss (mewithoutYou). They all put on a great show, it was at the Troubadour, which is tiny with no stage barrier and about 350 people total in the building. Awesome show, got to meet Dustin afterwards get a picture (bummed all I had was my cell camera) and an autograph. Really good show though, and for a good cause.

For any Pink Floyd fans out there, if you get the chance to see the Australian Pink Floyd show... GO!

I am a Floyd fan from the late 60's and I avoided the APF show the first couple of years they were in town. I went two years ago and was floored at how good they are. Absolutely amazing. If you are a Floyd fan you really should see this show. You will be stunned at how well they reproduce the music and atmosphere of a genuine Pink Floyd show. Excellent musicians and production that will make you think you are seeing the real thing. Lights, lasers, the works. If you are a Floyd fan do yourself a favor and catch these guys if you have the opportunity. You will not be sorry.

Last show I went to was Bloc Party. Bloody amazing!

In the next three months I am seeing:
- The Prodigy
- Big Day Out Festival: Neil Young, Arctic Monkeys, The Living End, Serj Tankian, Sneaky Sound System, Hot Chip, Infusions, Pendulum, TV on the Radio, The Ting Tings, Cut Copy & Birds of Tokyo.
- Cold War Kids
- Soundwave Festival: Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains, Bloodhound Gang, Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, Chiodos, Anberlin, Hellogoodbye, Jack's Mannequin and Silverstein. (These are the bands that I'm seeing, there are 40 others that i'm not)
- Big O Festival: The Music, The Fratelli's, Ben Lee and other stuff you Americans wouldn't know.
- The Who & Counting Crows

Who have gone to Death Cab as well if it weren't on the same night as The Big O....

Yes, summer is looking pretty good!

Last show i went to was winds of plague, veil of maya, iwrestledabearonce, and a local band thats super amazing.

But hopefully sunday i'm going to see impending doom, emmure, unearth, and born of osiris in nashville!
